ELLIS. It was with regret that beard the announcement of the death of Mr L. B- Ellis, which occurred at Havensville on Tuesday last at 12 o'clock. Mr. Ellis was formerly a resident of this c'ny, and known to a Urve number of persons throughout the county, having canvassed for a history of the county.

Just previous to his death be was editor and publisher of the Havensville Independent, and during last summer, for a few monibs, published the Garrison Times.
