Keene Hunter was nimroding around in Duck Creek this week. says that the outlook for quail is not very good, but that the skunk crop will be up to par.

Miss Georgette Craipe was down at Fredonia this week trying to get a bathing suit that will make bow legs look straight. Joe Pierce finally gave up and advised her to send to Montgomery-Ward. Miss Geeshe Howles, the Flats vocalist and singing' teacher, has been away for three or four weeks taking some finishing work in vocal music. She returned this week and was singing something without any tune which she called "Vocalises." Her mother has about forty half-grown chickens and when they heard the noise they all came running to the house, thinking it was feeding time. Widow.

Lummix says it. sure was good judgment to get Ed. Hudson to look after one of the Fredonia filling stations.
