Peru, Kansas. According to the promise I made you. I will write you a short discription of our trip ami of this country. As you remember we started from Peru at 9 o'clock Sunday evening. We changed cars three times, lirst at Independence, where we luid over about 2(1 minutes, second at Kansas City laying over about 10 minutes, and last at Car-rollton where we had to be transferred from one depot to another, which was about a mile, and then had to wait an hour and live minutes for our train to come.

We arrived at Moulton at 4:35 Monday evening making the trip in hours. We traveled on three different roads; first from Peru to Kansas City on the Santa Fe, from K. C. to Carrollton on the Wabash and from Carrollton to Moulton on the C. 11, K.
