By iuvittaion the Department Wo men's Relief Corps will accompany the Department G. A. R. to Cincinnati. The official route selected is the Santa Fe to Kansas City, Wabash to St.

Louis and the Big Four from there on to Cin cinnati. A special train of chair cars pullrnen and tourist sleepers will go through to Cincinnati without change, This special train will leave Hutcnin son Monday September 5th and reach Cincinnati at 3 o'clock p. m. A. L. Forsha received the sad news of the death of her brother, W. Irwin, which occured at his home in Huntiugton, W. Friday.

The electric fans now operated in Santa Fe Route dining cars are desirable and seasonable accessories to an already unsurpassed service. We dislike to complain or fuss about the heat, when we think of what our poor soldier boys are enduring down in the neighborhood of the equator. Those desiring a musical education will be wise in placing themselves under the efficient instructions of Miss A. Lida Watkins, 214 Fourth avenue East. The Woman's Belief Corps will go to Cincinnati via Santa Fe's special through train, which will leavn Hutchinson September 5.

Buffalo Bill's Wild West, on its three immense special trains of sixty cars, can travel further in a day than the historic old Deadwood Mail Coach it introduces attacked by Indians could have done in a month. Mrs. C. L. Bowman died at Kansas City Sunday morning, after a long illness and much suffering, of consumption. She was the wife of C.

L. Bowman, the real estate and insurance man, who died at his home in this city two years ago. Mrs. Bowman was a noble Christian woman, and was loved and honored by all who knew her; she was a watchful and affectionate mother, and she was in turn idolized by her two children, daughter and son, who have now lost their dearest Jand true triend Mother. She was kind and so licitous toward all with whom she had to do, and was held in the highest esteem of the community.

The remains were brought to this city and the funeral held Tuesday afternoon from the residence of her brother, Mr. Dan Conk-ling, and was largely attended by many symyathizing friends. The remains were placed in Eastside cemetery along side that of her husband..
