Morton and wife and Mable Roedell and Lydia Vincent called at Pete Frye's and ate watermelon one day last week. Fred Vincent has been putting up millet tue past few days. Louis Blackburn has been visiting relatives in this neighborhood the past week. Ollie Robinson and sons called at Birdie Eibert one day this week. Wyate Boger and P.

N. Flint were calling at the E. F. Farmer home Tuesday evening. Wyate Boger and P.

N. Flint are very much interested in the boys and girls poultry clubs of which we have one at the Prairie View school and we are going to exhibit some of the poultry at the Burlington fair. We have all did lots of grumbling about dry weather, so let us get busy and talk about the fine rains we are having. Sig Thompson leaves this week to attend camp meeting at Norton. Chas.

Mrs. Lucy Thoman was shopping in Burlington last Saturday. Elmer Magunson and lady friend attended the ball game at Burlington last Sunday. had the misfortune to get his leg broke just helow the hip, is getting along as well as could be expected. It was a bad brake, the bone being splentered some.

We all hope that he will get along all right. To late for last week. Will Dunham has been looking after his fathers chores while he was in Denver. Mr. Wroot called on Arnold Thoman Monday.
