Mr. John Schoepf had a 30 foot steel tower, 8 foot wheel, aermcter wind mill put up this week, that will beat elbow power all to peaces raising water. The Hutchinson Hardware company had the work done. Mrs. Heme living in Albion Township met with a severe accident last Sunday morning.

By falling, her left foot was dislocated backwards. This is a very serious accident especi-for a lady of her age. Dr. J. W.

Hut-ton was the attending Surgeon and reports favorable progress in the case, none need hesitate to seek the advice of Dr. Hutton in Surgical or general practice. The little folks had a round at the birthday surprise party business, this week. Miss Delia Astle was eight years old Monday, and after school hours her little girl friends to the number of sixteen met at Mr. Talbots store and went over to the C.

W. Astle residence in a body. Miss Delia re ceived a number of nice presents. Mrs. Astle had prepared a supper for them and no doubt the little ones en joyed themselves immensly.

On complaint of C. V. Yoder, Squire A stle had warrents issued Monday tor the arrest of a couple of men giving their names as, William Syfert and W. M. Reelander.

Charged with breaking into Mr. Yoder's house and stealing a pair of shoes and a razor. The case was tried before Square Astle Monday afternoon, neither the State or de fen dents hr.d any council. After tli3 esses on behalf of the exfirruoed, trie co defendants seperaitd ai 1 heard what the other had sworn to, truur stories wen conflicting; thai they criminated therose bond was placed at $250 's. Their absence of which they were taen to Hutchinson, by constable's McKinley and Miller and lodged in jail.

Mr. Asa Coggswell of Kansas City, Md. an old acquaintance and friend of the editor called on us last Saturday. Mr. C.

and his little ten year old girl are giving musical concerts on the Mandolin and Guitar. They expected to render thstr program in Haven, Monday night but could not procure a hall or any suitable place for giving their entertainment. We feel confident those' who appreciate nmsiaof the highest order would have been exceedingly well pleased could they have heard them play. We hope they may erelong eome this way aain and we assure them a hearty welcome. They spent Sunday with Mr.
