F. I). Roberts made a business trip to Hutchinson, Tuesday. Miss-; Julia Real returned home from Wheeling where she has been teaching school. John Shontz was arrested Tuesday, and brought before J.

W. Parish on the charges of burglary and petty larcency. Evidence was adduced before the court showing that Shontz had broken into Geo. Wightman's house north of town and etole numerous articles of small value. The court found him guilty on both accounts, and bound him over to court on the charge of burglary and fined him 820 costs and thirty days in jail.

The case of Ed Smith vs N. P. Womack suit for damage was continued from Saturday until next Friday. A Mardi3 returned from Kan sas City, Wednsday. Mrs.
