We take pleasure in recommending the First National to those of our readers who have business in their line. We have been sending out each week a great number of papers at considerable expense to ourself. This was necessary to do in order to introduce the paper, and also to do what we could to show people what our town has done and isdoing. The returns have been gratifying to us, but we should not be expected to continue this extra expense, therefore shall issue hereafter only sufficient to supply the actual demand.

Our business men and property owners should take as many extra copies as they leel able to pay for, and seLd them east. Each copy would do more for the town and county than twice fifty-two letters. We are receiving requests for specimen copies of the paper every mail, and to these we cheerfully respond.
