It is my opinion that the coming extra session will be ay very exciting one perhaps an angry one. Many diverse elements are coming together and there will be necessarily some friction before they can be harmonized. When the government made a commodity of silver, as it did under the Sherman law, silver was discredited. That was wrong of the law. The second clause of that law, which seeks to maintain the two metals on some sort of parity, is all right and congress may not be in favor of an unconditional repeal of that portion.
