Cole, The drill last evening on the street was very much enjoyed by the large crowd assembled to witness it. The Knights inarch regularly and handle the sword well. The Wellington band made the air dance with its delightful music during the drill and after it. Harper people were very much pleased with the music. The chief attraction of all was the evening festivities.

The ball at the rink was attended by upwards of a hundred couples and if ever a party of dancers enioyed themselves they surely did. They gave themselves up to the pleasures of the evening with entire abandonment. Keeping time with he inspiring music of the Wichita K. of P. orchestra, they whirled gaily on, in the arms of pleasure.

At midnight the company wended their way to the Forrey block and partook of the excellent supper prepared for them. After the banquet, the dancing at the rink continued till the wee small hours began to grow large and gradually the Knights and their guests and ladies dispersed leaving only the ghost of pleasure lingering on the floor. Space will not permit the Graphic to give a full report of the evening with names of those present. Suffice it to say the occasion was one long to be remembered by those who participated in its joys. The hotels were crowded with guests last night.

Many ladies came with the visiting Knights to attend the ball. WICHITA R. AND MISSOURI PACIFIC RY IIAUG, BOOKS, STATIONERY WALL PAPER.
