ijti, ixsa. The publisher assumes no responsibility jor communications contributed to these columns, FRIDAY, AUGUST 12, 1892. Several old reprobates who claim to be old soldiers, bat whose chief services were in line robbing of southern hen roosts and skulking in the rear to keep out of range of southern lead, and some who went into the war to keep from being sent to the penitentiary, are now breaking out at the mouth badly over Harris' nomination. We know some of this class who never drew an honest breath in their lives, but who are now making a garish display of their so-called patriotism. Harris was a confederate soldier, it is true, but we are willing to wager our head for a foot ball that he is the embodiment of more manhood and patriotism than a ten acre lot full of the blear-eyed, cotton-mouth republican fanatics, who are howling about his confederate record, State printer Snow, (people's party) in Ottawa Joarn'l, LO AX, NEWS.
