With the new trade comeing in it seems to us that another good general merchandise store would do well in Chautauqua. There are roads leading into Chautauqua that arc almost beyond travel with an empty buggy much less tryingthem with a heavy load. Now, if the business men and people of Chautauqua will set to work to have this evil remedied, and all work to gether, it will only be a short time, until the work will be accomplished.

It's an insult to the farmers of this community to ask them to pull their produce over such roads as some that lead into this town, md as soon as this woi is accomplished, just that m)uu will our trade be increased. Rev. Budd, assisted by Rev. Cook, of Sedan, will begin revival meetings at the Methodist church next Wednesday evening. Everybody cordially invited.
