After receiving the SKiXAL fur almost two years two gentlenicu near this place last week discovered their mistake and ordered the paper discontinued. We have heretofore and propose in the future to make an earnest endeavor to conduct a newspaper worthy of a place among other papers in any family. We cannot please all, however, and such being the case the will continue to struggle, for a long and more prosperous existence without the subscription of the extremely religious gentlemen who seem desirous of placing us upon equal footing with the devil and our paper with the Police Gazette. The Springs lively. We will soon have a "as the postmaster has sent oil' his bonds.

A large hotel building will be erected here soon. It will be 40x70 feet, two stories high and built of stone. Drs. Dunn and Woolsey already have two hundred loads of stone on the ground for the building, l'arties from Grenola have taken stock in the enterprise. A store room is being fitted up for Mr.T.
