F. Widner, and is now ono of the proprietors of the Grenola Argus. Albert is one of the best men that we1 ever had. Sober, steady and industrious, he deserves success, and we believe he will make it Cow-' ley Co. Monitor.

Among tbe pleasant and attractive features of the fair to be held at Topeka, is public speaking by eminent statesmen and others. Gen, Woodford of New York, one of the most eloquent men in public life in the United States, has been en gaged to deliver an address on Oo-tober 7th. The railroads will sell round trip tickets to Topeka during the fair for one and one-fourtb fare. Moomey and J. A.
