Put vour shoulder to tbo whl. and push our fight for the people to successful issue. Harmony is essential to victory. The People's party is working in harmony; and a victory will be tho result this Some of the congressmen accuse Cleveland of bringing about the pan ic and others charge it to tne door of the eastern bankers. The uneasiness displayed by the republicans is a pretty good sign that they see the handwriting on the a defeat at tho coming election.

So it is with a republican. Thay have been dealt a death blow at the band of the Hoxie convention, and a howl, of course, follows. The campaign this fall, so far as the People's party is concerned, should be fought on true principles, of justice and right. Everyday congress is in session the people have to put up $20,000.00 for expenses.

It costs like every thing to get a little legislation; but when this expense account is summed up and we get nothing hut the bill to pay and a single gold standard, what then? We hope when any matter of importance comes up in different parts ot the coilnty that Our friends will deem it a duty to report the same1 to us, and by a council of voices thi-re may be a prevention of discord and a successful campaign carried on this fall for the people and the People's party It is not necessary td indulge in personal abuse or slanderous assertions in the corning campaign. The People's party has plenty of argument in favor of their platform arid educating the people to the grand arid noble principles declared ill that platform. We will enheavor, in the near future, to publish the Omaha Natio'hal and Kansas State platforms.
