It grew rapidly worse however, and medical aid was summoned but to no avail, and on Monday morning its little soul left its tenement of clay and winged its flight to realms above. It was bnried in the cemetery at this place on Monday evening. The grief stricken parents have the sym pathy of many friends in their sad affliction.

A coupla of our citizens indulged in a little scrap last Tuesday night, hut owing to the prompt interference of the by standers no lives were lost, or very much blood shed. John Woodin and Curtis McGill, two youths of this city about 13 or 14" years of age each, were arrested last' Sunday night for firing off a revolver within the city limits. Woodin was released and Curtis was fined fiftv cents. We understand that the recent difficul ty concerning the city -marshal's office has been amicably rirahged, and that harness maker Wilcox Is making a bettei fitting halter for the marshal, which will, we hope, prevent a recurrence of the Charley Taylor, a youth about 15 years of age, was arrested last Tuesday morning charged With stealing a revolver from Shelden's blacksmith shop. One of the Taylor boys is already in jail heie'ser'virig out a year's sentence for petty larceriy It seems that they are a kind of a had lot.
