KELLEY Editor. Milwaukee had a $7,000,000 fire last Friday night. The fire brigade of the city were unable to control the fire on account of the high wind prevailing at the time. Assistance was sent from Chicago and other cities. Over 300 hundred famihes are homeless and the wholesale business district of the city is in ruins.

Several lives were lost. Attica already has a good trade, and it will undoubtedly be largely increased- the coming year. We heard many comments of praise of the large and excellent stock of goods carried by our business men, from parties from Kingman county, in attendance at the rally Satuaday. Some of them will eventually do considerable trading here. A pull altogether, of business men, citizens and farmers in this section will prove mutually beneficial, and will result in placing this part of the county in the advance.
