Jones and Win, Shaller arrived here from Stevens county yesterday. They report heavy rains in that county, and say that all kinds of growing crops are in excellent condition. We hear but little of the county seat contest ot late. The farmers ate Just now giving their entire time and atten tion to their farm work, and all seem to be too much interested in the advancement of the material interests of the county to give any thought to the tear ing down process. The citixens of Anthony through their board of trade, offered to furnish tents, rations, fuel, and everything necessary for the comfort of the comrades during said three days encampment. The chairman of the convention ap pointed an executive committee of nine comrades to take entire charge ot the reunion with full power and authority to do all acts necessary for its success. Every old soldier of the army and navy residing in Harper county is ur gently requested to attend this reunion.
