A gaeat excitement was created this afternoon at 1117 Kansas avenue by a Mr. Gray who has been sick for some time and this afternoon becoming madly insane he procured an old gun and a hatchet; and began to wage a war on all with whom he came in contact. There are a great many that this committee relieves who require some nourishments -uch as fruits and other not furnished by the poor committee. They als famish clothing ready made; also new goods and fiequt ntly cut and make clothing. This indeed a Christian and chai table work that these ladies are doing, and deserves the highest commendation of all good citizens..
