ISaii Train Service. The people of Cheney havo sent a complaint to the Secretary of state against the train service which is afforded them by the Wichita and Western Ry. They have only one train per day and that ia a freight. They have no passenger service at all. The railroad commissioners have held that the road cannot be compelled to increase the number of trains unless it be shown that the traffic demands it and then the state law of regulation could be enforced aud the railroad compelled to put on extra trains.

The jieople of Cheney have only one way to seek redress and that is to show that their business demands a belter service and prepare the figures to prove their claims.
