We spied the "Five Boy's" wagon and team passing through town early Tuesday morning en route for the Santa Fe, but the team was traveling so fast that we failed to recognize the occupants of the vehicle, and there- tore are unable to give their names.

Mr. Thorpe, father of our jullv friend, T.N. Thorpe, of the band, who arrived in Kearney county short time ago from Ohio, has mov ed his household effects and family into D. J. Meisenheimers building on east Main street.

This family will be quite an acquisition to Chantilly so ciety. Mrs. Florence C. A. E. Dolbow, of four miles northwest of Kearney, who lately arrived in the county, from McCoupin county, Illinois, died at the residence of Mr. Dolbow, last Sunday morning at 2 o'clock, from a congestive chill. The deceased had reached the advanced age of eighty four years, and lad come out to make his home among his children in this sunny climt but was with them only a few days, when called to a far and better home on hisrh, where trouble is never known; where love and peace reign supreme.

The Cotote extends its sympathies to the family in this their sad be reavement. A party consisting of four of our young people visited with Miss Ella Watts, at her h.me in 21 37, last Sun day. They report a pleasant visit, which we do not doubt iothe least, as Miss Ella knows how to entertain com pany. The young tourists must have gotten quite cold while returning home late that evening, for they were seen wrapped np in bed comforts, shawls, lap ropes etc, on their way down.
