The grave yard at old Empire has for some time been supposed to be haunted. but it has been discovered what it is.

Lindberg, at the aire of 57 years. Mr. Lindberg was well known in this city having been in the employ of Carlson Johnson for nearly ten years. The funeral services took place at ihe Vussiou church on Mondav, and were conducted by Rev. Pihl.

Last Sunday evening several teams might have been seen congregated around the residence of John Wickstrum, and then to wend their way in a southwester ly course to the home of Hans Wickstrum, upon arriving there the teams were fastened to the front fence and the occupants of the vehicles, about thirty in number, marched in upon the unsuspect ing bride ana groom or twenty years standing, and after presenting the each with a new camp rocker and ensc-mcing them comfortably thurein, they proceeded to make themselves at home. About ten o'clock an excellent supper was served by the ladies of the party, after which all tried to see who could be the happiest until after one o'clock, when the procession again moved, but this time in the direction of home all wishing the bride and groom another score years of happiness and prosperity. $5,000 Reward.
