These gentlemen prppoie to compile and publish a comprehensive atlas map of this county to contain as fullows- An outline map of the county colored by townships, showing relative positions; maps of townships showicg ranges and sections numbers; rgaiiiztd "townships with names; the location of cities, townships and villages with names, tLe location of school Louses with numbers, the location of churches, mills, cemeteries, shops, stores, wagan aad railroads, post Ouices, etc. The maps will be drawn on a scale of two inches to the mile, clearly engraved aad printed handsomely, colored and substantially beund, the size and shape of farms, owners name and the number of acres thev contain together with the location of residences.

Maps of the cities, towns and villages in the county colored by additions showing streets, lots and b'ocL-s with names and cumbers. Maps of the state of Kansas colored by counties, showing location of cities, towns, villages, postcOices, and railroads completed and proposed. Maps of the United States and world will also be included. Also a patrons business directory giving names, business, pestofiice address, nativity aud date of settlement in the county. Believing that a work of this eharac-ter is a public necessity, and will receive a liberal support in this couuty as such works have already done in other counties, they will endeavor, in addition to the city, county, and laud efface records make actual surveys where recsssary, to make the work complete.
