Success of the Farmers' Movement. The first practical success of the co-operative movement is reported from South Carolina, where the State grange has effected arrangements with the Western and Southern transportation lines, by which food, supplies and implements procured in AVestern States will be carried to Charleston by rail at rates 50 per cent, below the ordinary tariff.
