Jim Craig, of Winfield, came over to Dexter last Friday for a little pass time with his young friends at this place. Jim is always warmly welcomed. Miss Annie Terrel has been with her sister, at Eaten, Mrs Ada Hall, the past two weeks. She is greatly missed by her circle of young friends during her absence.

Since our last items, a little girl has arrived at the home of Mr and Mrs Overly Asbury. Mis3 Hattie Taplin has secured the school at Highland, east of town. Mrs Emma Fay and mother, of lower Grouse, were the guests of Mrs. S. H.

Wells, Saturday last. Mr and Mrs A Peabody returned, Friday morning, fxom a three month's visit to relatives and friend in Illinois. Mr Williams i3 here from north Missouri visiting his daughter, Mrs Geo Brian. 11 and A Branson shipped three car load of cattle and one of hogs, Sun-da v. Sleeman Easter has returned from Greenwood county to stay the rest of the summer.
