Hditou Kei'Udlicax I see in your last issue a resolution of the Republican Central Committee in reference to the plan of calling a convention, and would say that as a member of the Farmers' Club, have Toot left the lie-publican party, there are many things that I am not obliged to, and do not endorse, such as the salary grab, nor do I believe that the mass ol the part- does. I believe from the movements on foot and the tone of the press the party has the power ami the will to purity itself; but do not believe that any.

change in the plan of our convention would lend assistance to that end. But let the Central Committee caU a large convention, and the different townships send up good responsible men for their delegates, and I have no fears, but they will bear in mind the suggestion of Ilis lfonor Judge Wilson in his ith of July speech, to 'nominate none but those who have capacity and integrity. That stai light ride from Washington to Hanover on the morning of the 2.1st inst, in company with Mr.

We reached Hanover at an early hour for the train, and in the few minutes here allotted me learned to my astonishment what had been so long to me a myste ry; for, never before this date had I learned -for what reason Hanover should be so widely known to the traveling public, or from what source and title it derived its familiarity.
