Xo. 4GS, before u. after the death of our bro-j tLer iu. order, offered, with all respect a'Jvi kindness, their services: but these ser-I 'iees were firmly declined, and while we wished to care for our brother during his last illness and aid, in performing the last sad rites over his uoay, we were nui in-, lo.ved to. But while we wmv rot to dd this, owing to m'siepresehtations of the suspended Xo.

70, our ter.derest sympathies are with the afflicted widow and we stand ready at any time to do anything in our power to lessen the grief and soften the bitter blow that has fallen on her. Of what we, a legitimate lodge in good standing, have had lo bear in this matter, we would not have had itr.eA been for the items relative Xo. appear? in last week's As w- lo to be A sdT.erih now as in the past, but we feel Lhat in justice to the readers of the county papers, we owe them an explanation. 2 The 'governing lS? of the order, for we have a law just as ffiacfj anv coart of justice, says that when a ToaC of 0l1cl Fellows is suspended, they lose all prlvi- nrder, not only as to certain purposes, and the purposes. ns to period of their suspension .1 is as a in their existence.

So while these men did a lsutiakV as citizens, to bury a man, to bufy an I. O. lodge, in opposition ah law and order cf Odd" Fellowship, knowing, as intelligent men, that they are violating the obligations that they took on the Bible, they are a reproach and a stigma to the order; and the resolutions while beatiful in themselves, as resolutions of jXo. 76 are null, and void and simply show the rebellion of a suspended class. We wish to state that the whole ceremony of theorcer was not performed, possibly because they had no acres to the rituals; and while the ceremony of dropping the evergreen into the grave was imposing aud touching, as a ceremony, as an I.

O. O. F. ceremony it was an open insuit to the order, and especially to the dead man's lodge in Wisconsin. "Last week's paper mentioned the fraternity of To.

7ft (meaning the suspended members.) There are men, in and out of Washington, and in adjoining towns, who feel that this fraternity must be of a late development. Moreover, one of the most striking features of Odd Fellowship is to keep its fraternity and charities a secret, and not bruit its good deeds about on the street corners. Xo community should eoudone a wrong or illegality even though it looks right on the surface. An Oit Fellow in Ggoi.Stanpino. Jlarvolotis From a letter written by Rev J.

Gunder-man, of Dimondale, Mich we are permitted to make this extract: "1 have no hesitation in recommending Dr. Kind's Xew Discovery, as the results were almost marvelous in the case of my wife. While I was pastor of the Baptbt church at Rives Junction, she was brought down with Pneumonia succeeding La Grippe.
