In Memoriam. Sister Elizabeth Peach died at her home, 809 Exchange street, Sunday morning, December 20, at three o'clock. She was born in Scotland, May 28, 1837. She came with her father to this country in 1840, settling in Louisville, Ky. May 28, 1857, she was married to Joseph Peach, who died at Duncan's Falls, Ohio, April 3, 1861.

Since the death of her husband Mrs. Peach moved to Emporia, where she has made her home. She was the mother of eleven children, nine of whom are living, and seven of them were at her bedside at the time of her death. They were Mrs. Wm.

Miller, Misses Hattie and Bernice Peach, Messrs. Courtney and Harry Peach, all of this city, Wm. Peach of Kansas City, Morton Peach of St. Louis. Robert L.

Peach and Mrs. Mary E. Mast live near Zanesville, Ohio, and could not be present. Mrs. Peach gave her heart to Christ in her early years, and always lived a true, noble Christian life.

Very many can testify that their lives are the better for having known her. She was a member of the First Baptist church of this city, and the funeral services were conducted by the pastor at her late home Monday morning at eleven o'clock. The remains were taken to Zanesville, Ohio, on the afternoon train for burial, accompanied by the son Harry. Sister Lizzie J. F.

Runyon, wife of Durell Runyon, died at San Antonio, Texas, Thursday morning, December 31, 1896, at one o'clock. Bro. Runyon and his wife had gone to San Antonio to spend the winter, hoping that a milder climate would be beneficial. A few days after their arrival Sister Runyon caught a severe cold which she was unable to throw off. She had been an invalid for several years, and had been obliged to pass the winters in a more southern clime.

Her trust in her Savior was very strong, and she desired above all else to be obedient to him. She passed away in a quiet sleep. The remains were taken to Plainfield, N. for interment. Bro.

Runyon has our sympathy in his bereavement in a strange city, and may the Lord bless and comfort him is the prayer of the pastor. MARRIED--At the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Anderson, 113 West street, Mr. Bertram S.

Graham and Miss Dulah Anderson were united in holy matrimony December 24, at eight o'clock, p. 111. The ceremony was performed by the pastor of the First Baptist church of this city, in the presence of a house filled with guests. The young couple stood under a beautiful floral bell and answered to the requirements of a delightful ring ceremony while the pastor declared them husband and wife. Many were the beautiful presents presented, and after a bountiful wedding supper they took their departure for Missouri to visit the groom's friends.

Many are the friends who wish them joy and prosperity. On New Year's Eve quite a number of the young people gathered at the home of Bro. Wm. Moses and spent an exceedingly pleasant evening remaining to watch the old year out and the new year in. A delightful New Year's lunch was served, to which all did ample justice.

The pastor and family were present. PREMIUM OFFER.
