Angell in the Wyandotte Nation, Indian Territory, ou the 12th of May, 1889. The following is John Swallow's description Age about 38, about 5 feet 8 inches high, weighs about 140 slender built, inclined to lean forward a little when walking, thin, bony, freckled face, light blue eyes, Is slightly near-sighted and weak eyed and wears colored, oval shaped glasses part of the time, light sandy hair. When last seen lie wore a sandy mustache, which he has probably cut off. Swallow is an Odd Fellow, and wore an I. O.

O. F. pin. Has worked at farming, running ferry boat, running traction engine and has worked some at type-setting; smokes a pipe a great deal. Swallow was last seen on May 13, 1889, on Gulf train with ticket for Kansas City, and is supposed to have gone west from there.

The reward is perfectly good. Address any in Two hundred and fifty dollars will be paid for the return of either of the above parties to the sheriff of Whit' man county, Washington Territory Per Order Co. Commissioners murder in.Madisonville, Tex. in 1887,. for which he was indicted in 1888.

His method Is to make the acquaintance of some one that has property, horses or grain to sell, make the purchase and then present a large draft or check In payment and then get the balance in cash. The name Jones Is supposed to be an alias, he Is about SO years old; 5 feet 8 Inches high; weight 105; brown hair; short beard; cloth overcoat and cap: affable talker; will probably want to buy draft horses for logging purposes, real estate or grain. He Is supposed to be Henderson, Post, King, Skipper, McDonald, five confidenco men whose photographs are on file in this agency office. Jones swindled the first national bank of Helena, Montana out of $2,500, Jan. 6.
