3: Don't take any stock in Leoti's railroad bond meeting. The M. A. railroad will build to Coronado by July 1 without bonds, and all the bonds and everything else Leoti can bffer will not this road till it is built from Coronado to Lakin this fall, after which time work will be commenced here and' pushed west. As to Santa Fe bonds the two eastern townships (solid for Coronado) will have "the say." At the present time we are not certain whether the Herald will favor or oppose -these bonds, but phould it do the lattery it will be in the interest of Coronado and the east half of the county.

The M. A. road holds Coronado as dear asrone of her most loyal citizens. Before bonds are requested in this county the bogus officers of the west side will be defunct. To our readers" we will ay a bomb-shell will explode very soon, which will "turn on the light." Don't be afraid to bank your dollars on Coronado property at reasonable figures.

The Denver, Memphis Atlantic railroad is pushing work on this road as fast as money and brains will permit. It will reach Coronado in less than ninety days. Whoop her up. This is Coronado's road, and don't you forget it. This will be the western terminus till the road is completed to Lakin, 35 miles due south, after which time Coronado will be the These are facts, and we know whereof we speak.

Messrs. Gregory and Wheeler, two business men of Burlington Junction, Missouri, is in the city. They have secured the Matlock building on south Main street, and will open for business next week. We can endure a smoky chimney, but a liar we detest. George Edwards was shot and killed in Leoti last Saturday week, yet the "trooly loyal" of that shanty town sent reports out that he was killed in Coronado while acting as deputy sheriff. If we owed his Devilshjp a liar and he refused to take a "good Leotian" for the debt, we would say, Mr. DeviL we have kenoed on the bottom line." Yesterday we passed George Jer-mans blacksmith shop, and was surprised to see the large number of harrows, mowers, and plows around his place. It looked like the farmers meant business.

George says he intends to keep the noted Buckeye mow-; ers in stock hereafter so as to meet the demand for them. George is one of the Coronado pioneers, and is meet- ing with the rich success he deserves. We predict that Isabell, in Scott county, is destined to make a good town, as indications point very decidedly toward that place being the winter- termini of the Chicago, Kansas Western road. Poor Halcyon, ihe illegitimate child of a county "seat rape committed by Bonasa, must give up the ghost. J.

H. Douglass, John Thurman, N. F. and S. razier, and W.

W. Burke, a prominent attorney from the Shenandoah Valley, was in the city Friday. He admired our pluck and grit in building up such a pretty town in so short a time. If any one doubts the legality of the Coronado officers and that Coronado is not the county seat, let him consult learned attorneys, not black-legs, and they will convince the most doubtful. So Leoti has chartered a street railway to keep pedestrians out of the mud.

Triplett, have the charter changed to an elevated road, and employ Ward to keep the "cows a 3 tho track." A and R. F. Foreman and R. and C. N.

Thomas, of Lilly Chapel Ohio, old friends of Joe Corder, are in the city. They are looking up four choice relinquishments, and intend to remain and help us make Coronado the Future Great. The "bitterest pill in the box" was given to Leoti's bogus officers Saturday night when Deputy Sheriff Wheeler of Coronado subpoenaed the French gentlemen to appear at Dodge fcity before a commission formed by Parties receiving the Herald marked with a red at the head of the paper will know that their subscription is past due and must be nai.l immediately.
