FIRST NATIONAL BANK. bo held in Chicago during the fall of 1S89. The enterprise has already beon endorsed by several National Breeder's Associations, and tho final organization will take place on January 15th, in Springfield Illinois. As we understand it, the fair will consist of: 1 Show of different breeds of milk cows, with six-day tests of single cows as well as with herds of ten lows, both as to quality and quantity. This department will enable the visitor to learn the yalue of testing cows, and give the breeders a chance to prove their claims a to the merit of their special favorite breed, not only with one phenomenal cow, but with a herd of ten cows owned by one man.

2 Show of different system of cream raising, creamery and dairy work. This department will show several working creameries and dairies, and cheese factory, run by good makers, and by special tickets, those interested ia the details of I he work, may be admitted inside tho ring so as to see what is meant by proierly ripe cream, by the proper graanla -ting of butter, see the cheese made, and hear the lectures that will bo delivered. 3. Show of butter and cheese of all classes and kinds. Liberal premiums will be given, and what is more, the taking of a diploma at 6nch a fair will be au honor indeed.
