penter, Paola, Kansas. Mrs. B. R. Keith, age 55, died at her home in this city Sunday morning, after an illness of many months with cancer of the stomach.

She was one of the best known and most highly respected women in our city, and many are mourners among the young men and young women of this city who have received words of advice and encouragement from her as a teacher. She taught in our schools for years, and was regarded by all as a noble woman and a worthy teacher. She always had the interest of her scholars at heart and tried to teach them the way to do right and make good useful men and women, and she succeeded to a great extent. She was a faithful A little girl by the name of Sadie Satoff of Alma, did so while trying to ride a horse and has a broken arm in consequence. Iola Register, E.
