Secretary "Budweiser Meade" put the question, the members voting as follows: For explanation, "Help-em-out Oil," Budweiser Meade," "Scrap iron Archie" and "Let-her-go-Gallagher." Against, "Boston-bean Johnny," "Alcohol Joe" and "Hostetter Lum." President "Boston-bean Johnny" said he would rather have it decided by arbitration, and put same as a motion. It was seconded by "Hostetter Lum" and put to a vote by "Budweiser Meade," and after a few minutes debate carried unanimously, and "Rebate Rastus" named as arbitrator. "Rebate Rastus" said he would not act as he understood the money in the treasury was defunct. The members then agreed to give him a rebate certificate payable at next semi-annual meeting, and "Rebate Rastus" agnfed to proposition, as he could sell said certificate to "Pool-player Mc," for he disposed of his "culled" certificate to him at an advanced price.
