Chas reports in the morning no capture. The above seems to be the true statement but a rumor has it in a different light: Chas. it is said, has a "friend" out in Harmony district, and it is supposed on the above evening of the disappearing of the bicycle that he went to see his friend on the bicycle. In leaving his "friend" he got started off in the wrong direction seeing that he was lost put up at the hay stack for the night. He did not awake as early as he intend to so ho hid the bicycle and went on foot across the $70 a Ton.
