In taking charge of the Chronicle at the beginning of its second year, we find a great many of the subscriptions have exoired. and so far have not been renewed. While we do not wish to hurry any one, and are perfectly willing to wait a reasonable length of time on our subscribers, we would be pleased if they would step in the office and have their names taken off our books if tbey are not pleased with the paper. We are trying hard to make the Chronicle a good local paper and have put the subscription price within the reach of all.
