CITY MEAT MARKET For tho Hcxt Ten Days I WILL SV1AICE A GREAT REDUCTION As the merchants of Wayne have given up their meat trade, we will carry in stock all the time Cured Meats of all kinds and Fresh Beef sand Pork, as the trade demands. We did nbt get the exclusive sale of meat in Wayne to hold you up on prices, but as both merchants will tell you, there is-nothing in it for three dealers to handle meat, and in order that we can have a good market and have all kinds of meat at all times, they have kindly given over the entire Meat and Lard business. We will pay the highest market price for horse and cow hides. Give us a chance to buy your hides; we can make a little on them, and in this way you can help us and in return we can help you. While there is a power of good being done by temperance lecturers over tho country, there is one very powerful factor in the fight that the White Ribbon sisters seem to overlook as they travel about to preach and teach temperance, and that is this. Our government, or rather, our rulers, are standing behind the liquor traffic. Why is nothing said against a system of government that will issue license to sell liquor in prohibition and build ware houses to store it and give bonds for its protection, and allow the distilleries to borrow money on those bonds so that they can manufacture more liquor to get more bonds. No, they not only keep but have the temerity to say that if the liquor traffic were done sway" with, the tariff would come all Ad Dulin was in town Tuesday (Special Report.) So. St.
