W. Marleyof Gregory, So. Dakota, was in and paid his sub scription last Friday. Elihu Kellogg came in last Fri and paid up for the Joukxal until February 1911. Alfred Forhney and family spent Saturday at the Lars Newman home.

Bert Walton and family spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. A. 1). Koszell.

Mrs. Carl Anderson called on Hans Abraham Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Leonard Ekstrom and son, Cecil, and Viola Fickel went to Concordia Monday. S.

I). Vance -Tues-tlay morning paying his subscription to the Journal to 1911. J. M. Shepard came in Tuesday and paid up his subscription one year in' advance, which entitled him to one of our beautiful calendars, which he said was the nicest thing he had ever saw.

T. P. Teagarden attended the Farmers' Institute at Belleville. Ho says the program was good, but the attendance very small. It would not near come up to the interest taken at the institute at this place.

The Wayne Creamery desires to Jet out on contract the taking up of ice this season to the lowest responsible bidder, bids to be in before New Year. The company reserves all right to reject any or all bids. Inquire of E. K. Erickson.

C. W. Marley and wife left Saturday morning for Belleville, where they will visit a few days before returning to their home in Gregory, S. I). They were accompanied as far as Cuba by Mrs.
