Ohlen Garrison is the daughter of Mrs. Mary the proprietor of the Helms Boarding House. Mrs. Garrison has grown up in this community and has many friends. Hazel has always been a very pleasant girl to meet and we wish for her the best of success and happiness during her wedded life.

Ohlen Garrison is our mail carrier on route one and needs no introduction by us to the public. Ohlen's parents live at Hominy, and Ohlen left for that place, Monday, for a visit Ohlen will also visit his sister, Mrs. Coffee, at Sopher. Okla. The Green Defeats Leonard.

Last Sunday the Green team took the Leonardville boys down the line to the tune of 6 to 3. The game was a very interesting one from the start to finish although numerous errors were visible all the way through, especially- on the Leonardville's end of playing1. Green played a good article of ball and had Leonard played as well, in the field, the score would of indicated a different figure, probably favoring Leonard ville. J. Bohnenblust hurt his back along about the seventh inning and Lind was substitued for Leonardville.

Bohnenblust had pitched good ball up until the time when his back was sprained. Lind did very well. Harry Clark pitched for Green and worked in his usual good form, although being hit pretty hard the Green boys always seemed to be where the ball went and gobbled them in. CROOK 1H CHEEK, Miss Ida Peterson was visiting the first of the week with her sister in Leonardville. Ehart Weider was a Kansas City visitor the first of the week.

At the Methodist Parsonage last Friday evening at the hour of ten occured the marriage of Miss Hazel Helms to Mr. Ohlen Garrison, both of this place. This was "indeed a surprise to their friends, even to the most intimate ones, but in some unknown way, some of the boys had found out about it at the last minute, having gone up to the parsonage beforehand with flash lights, bells, guns and other un-noiseless articles.
