Lester Perry has been appointed ag-ent by the State School Book Commission for the new school books in Wallace county, and would like a report by August 20th from all the districts in the county as to the number of school books they have to exchange. The Denver Republican, a calamity paper, says that the farmers of the United States will receive $100,000,000 more for their; wheat this year than last. That is McKinley prosperity, and proves conclusively that the price! of silver has nothing to do with the price of wheat, as silver has reached the lowest price in its history.
