Steenburg. After the appointment of the above named committees, the whole chautauqua force was organized as a Ticket Sales Committee, with Claud Batty as captain of the "Blues" and Floyd Fullerton as captain of the "Reds." Each side is to do its best in selling tickets and the captain of the side that makes the poorest showing will have to saw up a knotty stick of wood in the big tent on the last night of the chautauqua. Neither of the two captains is boasting of his wood sawing abil ity, but in the opinion of the Blues Floyd Fullerton would make the biggest showing sawing away on that stick of wood; while the Reds insist that Claud Betty will be a good one in a wood sawing stunt.
