Mrs. Charlotte Bryant departed this life at Denver, Colorado, February 1893, of heart failure.1 Her remains were brought back and buried in tlie Cemetery at Hutchinson. She was born in Wayne county, New York. September 2, 1834. She moved with her husband to Minnesota in a wagon drawn by oxen which he exchanged for hores, and from there went to Illinois, and then went to Michigan. In 1858 they came to Kansas. From this state thef weul back to Michigan, and iu 1S70 came to Kansas again, and were among the first settlers of Valley township, Reno conty, where she resided for seventeen years.
