The series of boy scout lectures given by Mr. Wooster are proving very popular. A large crowd of girls as well as boys are attending. These lectures are very practical as many students intend to teach. The boys will be called upon to take part in the activities of the boy scout organizations and will want to know about the rules governing them.

Practical demonstrations in the art of knot tying will be given. Mr. Wooster said: "The girls will want to learn to tie knots especially the matrimonial knot." These lectures are given at 12:45 p. m. on Thursdays in the lecture room in the Industrial building.

F. H. N. Graduate Receives Appoint A pleasing part of the program Thursday morning, January 21, was the singing of Miss Mathtilda Meier. She sang her solos before Mrs.

Lewis made the address. When Miss Meier had finished M. Piccolomini's "Ora Pro Nobis" the applause was very demonstrative and her rendering of "His Coming" by Robert Franz was well received. Jean Cave Returns from Kansas City. Jean Cave returned Sunday night from a weeks visit with her mother.

Mrs. Cave is at St. Margarets hospital where she is receiving treatment for blood poisoning. Mrs. Cave is better and hopes to be able to leave the hospital in the near future C.
