JAMES G. iOBEWOOD, DEALER IN Lumber Siuilding Aerials. W. E. Perry, Mgiv o- We have Everything Carried in a First-Class Lumber Yard.

RICHLAND, KANSAS. Public, Take Notice! The best is the cheapest! I am now givingr special attention to fine shoeing. If you appreciate good work call and see me. I can suit you. I will make you reasonable prices, accordingly.

Jim Seybold, Richland. Ridge way. Ripples. Tom Hupp transacted business in Topcka Monday. Eli Board started for Colorado Saturday for a ten days' stay.

Little Hattie Rundle has been quite sick for the past few days. Dr. Hutchison has joined his family who have been visiting at William Knight's. Will Hebcrling has sold his farm to Eli Beard and has purchased a largo one near Centrop-olis. Harris and Skaggs did not go to Oklohama as stated last week, but will probably go later in the season.

We are compelled to admit that we are not much of a sprinter, but wo have a friend hero that is a good one. Will Atchison returned from Ness county Saturday and went to Topeka Tuesday with the intention of joining the army. The farmers here who bought high grade(?) groceries from the traveling grocery men will hereafter buy groceries from the home merchant. Good idea! Experience is the best teacher on earth but it sometimes costs. We observe that "Newsboy" made a bad break in the wrong direction.

After seeing what a horrible roasting we got she ought to have known better and left the Pleasant View scribes alone. Their superior intellect over the other correspondents it an even twenty the next two weeks. They are still worried over that poetry, and without a cause. We are considerably bothered by the editors of different publications who want us to place our talent into rhyme, but as we have other and re weighty matters on our mind we are compelled to decline with thanks. As for plowing corn, whenever wTe answer guilty to that charge it will be with a wronged conscience.

These drinks are always kept ice cold, and of excellent quality. Groceries. Staple and Fancy and Fresh. gives them an advantage that they make good use of. We have often observed the refinement that the Pleasant View voung folks are highly endowed with, and have also noticed that refinement and beauty make close running mates.

After wTe have tried to "be good" the P. V. scribes have seen fit to roast us again. In regard to our being in Over-brook about seventeen times in two weeks, will say to be exact about it that we were there nineteen times and will try and make We do job printing..
