20th, under the heading, "Brother Parham and- Zion," a challenge written by one who evidently is ashamed of his or her name. Challenges from orators, pugilists or base ball nines are always endorsed by the challenger. In this case it is even more important for it contains a reward of $100 for the genuine healing of any one by the power of God, or where speaking in other tongues by the same power could be shown. Now, neighbor, after you have examined the testimony here produced, you will find a name signed below to whom you may give that cheque, or as you choose, and I shall turn it over to spread this same Gospel of Jesus Christ, who is the same "yesterday, today and forever," Hob; 13:8, who said, "Heaven and Earth shall pass away, but my word shall not pass away," Matt. 24:35.

I could give you a great many instances of God's this sight in. See Mark 12:37 and tell us, please, where in the Bible the day of miracles is past. You say God was not the author of languages, nor never furnished a ready-made meal. You will find in that God created all things and without him was nothing made. Also you may learn that at the Tow, er of Babel the builders spoke-the same language and that God confused their speech and they were scattered from their foolishness.

If your teeth are good, try Proverbs 26:12 In one place you say of languages or tongues spoken here in Baxter. It may have been "Dahomean, Kaffir or Choctaw" for all we know. You are right, it could easily be, by such a power.

They cover many States of our Union and of the old World. There are cases here in Baxter, many of them. Christ was sanctified by the plan of God that in his name we should be healed of sinand bodily ailments.

That plan has never been revoked and it is none of yours nor my business whether it suits us or not. It just suits me anyway. You will find the mission of followers of Christ in Mark 16: 15-18. It will tell you some signs that shall follow them who really believe. For you must know that, "Devils also believe and tremble." I personally know that so far some of these signs have follow- ed tlje Apostolic Faith people and others.

We have never held a meeting anywhere that some Gift of God was not shown to the unbelievers. I Cor. 14 :22, you put up a very poor drill when you attack a gift of the Holy Ghost in this case speaking in "other tongues." Now will you be honest a moment and read this evidence showing that speaking in other tongues or languages was a Miracle and a gift of the Holy Ghost. See Now, do you know what it means to spend your time sending out ridicules against the Holy Ghost and His work. You had better inform yourself upon so important a subject and read Matt.l2:31-32.

TW Arre 9.37.3Q anAthon for lunch chew this: Copy of sworn statement. Melrose, Fel. 0, 06'. To whom it may concern: Be it known that Dr. F.

F. Clark, do testify and affiirm that I do understand and have heard Miss Bessie Tuthill of Baxter Springs, speak in the German, Italian and Scandinavian languages. Dr. F. F.

Clark, Melrose, Kas. State of Kansas, Cherokee County: Subscribed and sworn to before me this 27th day of 1906. as. M. Halcomb, Notary Public Can you not interview with this doctor! It would pay you, you can quickly discover if Miss Tuthill ever learned these languages.

You have not squared any statement by the Bible, which is the Key that unlocks all these things. Where is your authority for contradicting the promises of Christ and the power of God, who created all things! Enlighten we common people, for we just take. You declare that, "none of healings or speaking in other tongues have been proven gen uine." In this you are grossly ignorant or malicious. The proof is all around you. You can investigate.

We invite you, we urge you to prove us. Only recently, for two weeks you could have heard, in your own streets, purest German and other languages by the Spirit. You could have heaid Chinese spoken and sung. Pe: haps, never saw a chinaman. I have been amonar them for 6 1-2 vre.

and no one can convince me I have not heard Chinese spoken by those who never learned it. This is a great subject and worth your time, "Rub the dust ofi your bible, shake out the leaves; flowers and newspaper clippings and press-flies and get down to business, and don't waste your puny strength trying to pull down a faith that the signs follow, as in Mark 16, for we are doubling in numbers every four months, and the gift of tongues, interpretation, prophecy, healing, are following. We are happy people, wishing all others as much or more than we enjoy. We know we shall grow if we "Keep his sayings," that faith shall increase among us, and we shall tell the story in every language without money or price. You cannot stop it.

Your range of Influence is very small, judged by your vision. I have read from your kind for a year. I believe none of us have thought your little talks of importance, nor do I now. You remiud me of a very poor investor with a cent so close to his eye that he never sees the dollar on the other side. You hold our little brother Parham and other things so close you miss the perfect pattern yon should follow just beyond.

If our faith is not approved of God it shall fall and Amen, but we see no. indications of such as yet. Yours Respect'y H. B. Elliot.
