To Walter E. Wflson, bank Commissioner, Topeka, Kansas. Oelwein, has made her home with him. Mr. Butler was a man of strong christian convictions, having united with the Westfork Primitive Babtist church in 1889, and was always loyal to the faith.

He was a kind and helpful neighbor, a clean citizen, and the older residents of the county particu larly will remember him only for bis upright character, but for his desire to always do good and lend a helping hand to those in need. Funeral services were held from bis late home last Sunddy afternoon, conducted by Rev. R. L. Keeton, of Grinnell, and interment was made in the family lot in the Hampton cemetery.
