John Ontjes shipped two cars of cattle and hogs to Kansas City last Police Court Incident A citizen was brought into police court last Friday for draying without a license. It appears that he was about to haul a load of wheat, not his own, from one elevator to another, when he was intercepted by the marshal.

School Closes The closing exercises of school last Friday consisted of a program by the children, followed by a "fish pond." a pastime by which presents were exchanged. Owing to the cold weather there was not a large attendance of grown people. School is now closed till January 3. The success of the term reflects credit upon Mr. Froning and his assistant, Miss Osborn.

The ordinance committee was instructed to prepare an occupation tax ordinance and report at the next meeting. Adjourned to meet in one week.
