Saturday was the Tlst anniversary of the fotmdlna.of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, and ILawatha lodge, having decided, some time since, to celebrate the event iu a royal manner, seut out invitations to all I the neighbring lodges lo come and join them.

Never looked a day more discouraging than did Saturday morning. was falling; the roads were mnddy, and the sky was beclouded. But long before noon about the time the Xcmaha delegation, 200 strong, headed by John Fultoa and the Sabetha band, arrived, Old Sol peeped out from behind a cloud and decided to stay. Robinson, Baker, Falls City and Horton also seut large delegations, and before noon there were 500 Odd Fellows and 1,000 strangers in the city. Tiie procession was formed shortly after 1 o'clock by Col.

II. J. Aten. At leaht five hundred members of the order were in line of march. Owing to the muddy condition of the roads the line of march was confined to the sidewalks.

Hiawatha had donned her holiday attire; the gay bunting which floated to the breezes from every business house; the verdant park; the regalias, the uniforms all tilled the air with that substance which, if the utmost contentment.
