BLOOM, FORD COUNTY, KANSAS, THURSDAY, DEC. 28, 1916. NUMBER 42 VOL- 1 DC DC Greensburg Man Gets Strange Photo The photographer at Greensburg, Kansas, took a picture of an angel floating on a cloud. Rather unusual isn't it? But it happened He was returning home after having taken a flashlight picture at the high school at that place when he noticed what looked "to him like an angel floatingon a cloud, and acting on impulse, took an experimental snapshot. The camera saw the same thing he did and the picture may be seen at Greensburg at any time.

We were talking with a machine agent from there who had seen it and according to him it is indeed a good picture Of course the only explanation is that it was a sort of Actios Clarion. We are sorry to note that Mr. Haley of the Clarion published the obituary of that paper this week. It has always been a newsy little sheet regarding the doings in that place, but was not, as Mr. Haley hinted in his farewell, a very highly patronized medium by the merchants of that place, and, as no business of any sort may thrive without the proper amount of financial boosting, we can't blame Mr.

Haley for crossing his fingers and shouting Vents tag. What? No, Bloom isn't much larger than Kingsdown, only in future calculations at least, but we can concientiously remark that it soon will be. But then you have beard that old gag about self praise so we will apply it, and extend to Mr. Haley our best wishes for the success of whatever he may undertake in the future. mm mm I just i alien me For The El i $1 (fQ with Bosch Magneto in additon to Regular bat, tery Equipment 1 7 I A 0 ooc Christmes Day was a jolly time at the home of Mr.

passenger roadster passenger touring Gar optical illusion caused perhaps, by reflections, being on the same idea as a mirage of the desert. And, although we never heard of anyone taking a picture of a mirage, we dont see why it couldn't be done. But at that it is a very unusual picture and ought to be worth while going to see. An exchange likens the man who does not advertise to a fellow who winked at a pretty girl in the dark. He knew what he was doing, but no one else did.

Owing to the fact that on Sunday December 24, the R.
