P. ELDER, 2S St. consumption, u. Cowdery. Sherman McNutt who was living on the farm with his brother Sheridan McNutt, of Cutler township, died Thursday night.

He had his foot crushed some time ago in a horse power mill, and while the surgeons were consulting as to amputation the victim died. His remains were shipped by his wife to her folks. Wilkinson-Hall. The wedding of Mr. F. E. Wilkinson, of this city, and Miss Ivy M.

Hall, of Mount Hope, Sedgewick, county, occurred last Thursday, the 15th inst. The ceremony was the beautiful ring service and it was performed by C. H. Wareham, pastor of the First Baptist Church, of Wichita, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs.

M. Hall, near Mount Hope, at high noon in the presence of about 50 invited guests, who after extending their congratulations to the uewly wedded pair sat down to a most elegant repast which had been prepared under the direction of Mrs. L. M. Hall the mother of the bride.

Miss Wells, of Wichita, had charge of all ceremonies on the wedding day and managed things in a way highly satisfactory to all concerned. The bride and groom received from friends who were present, and from absent ones quite a large number of useful and beautiful wedding presents. The groom is well known in this city he having never known any other home. He is the son of Mr. F.

A. Wilkinson, who has been inthe abstract business for the past thirty years. He is a graduate of Ottawa University of the class of 1896, as is also the bride, class of 1897. Mr. Wilkinson will engage in farming and stock raising near this city.

He brings to our community one who will be welcomed to the social and church circles in which both bride and groom are well and favorably known. These happy young people will receive the congratulations and best wishes of all their many friends in this as well as in other places. Mr. and Mrs. F.

A. Wilkinson and daughter Mar3' went to Mount Hope last Wednesday and were present at the wedding, returning Friday. Mr. FE. Wilkinson, the groom, will return with his accomplished bride next week.
