It adds greatly to the efficacy of the Black Cherry bark. Golden Seal root, Stone root and Queen's root, contained in "Golden Medical Discovery" in subduing chronic, or lingering coughs, bronchial, throat and lung affections, for all of which these agents are recom- mended by standard medical authorities In all cases where there is a wasting away of flesh, loss of appetite, with weak stomach, as in the early stages of consumption, there can be nodoutt that glycerine acts as a valuable nutritive and aids the Golden Seal root. Stone root, Queen's root and Black Cherry bark in Sromoting digestion and building up the eshand strength, controlling the cough and bringing about a healthy condition of the whole system. Of course, it must not be expected to work miracles. It will not cure consumption except in its earlier stages.

It will cure very severe, obstinate, chronic coughs, bronchial and laryngeal troubles, and chronic sore throat with hoarseness. In acute coughs it is not so effective. It is in the lingering coughs, or those of long standing, even when accompanied by bleeding from lungs, that it has performed its most marvelous cures. Send for and read the little book of extracts, treating of the properties and uses of the several medicinal roots that enter into Dr. Pierce's Golden Medical Discovery and learn why this medicine has such a wide range of application in the cure of diseases.

It is sent free. Address Dr. R. V. Pierce, Center dispatch to the Chicago Great "Western railway will sell homeseekers' tickets to Minnesota, North Dakota and Canadian Northwest, at about half rates; to other territory first and third Tuesdays.

EMMA BROCKWAY 320 Main Telephone 356 Some people try to make the watch business a mystery, and talk quality and reliability, trying to leave the impression that they are the only people who are reliable, afraid to quote prices.

Prices are quoted on all other lines of goods in Ottawa. They try to keep prices dark till they get you in to look at a watch, then talk quality and skin you on the price. The fact is, all Elgin, Waltham, Rockford, Hampden, Illinois, Hamilton and Seth Thomas Movements, and Boss Dueber, Crescent, Wadsworth, Crown and Fahy's Cases are equal in quality. They are all backed by a factory guaranteee that is as good as a government bond. Our goods are all new and of all the standard makes.

The only difference is, we sell 25 per cent below our competitors. Don't be misled by the talk they give you to get their fancy prices. All standard makes of watches are like our silver dollars, equal in value. The 59 watches sold by us during the month of July was sold by giving our customers the right prices. All we ask is for you to get our prices, see our goods, then look around and buy where you can do the best.

Our work needs no comment, as we get all we can attend to. g. .3. PETER KAISER, NOTARY PUBLIC, PENSION ATORNEY, LOANS INSURANCE. Room No.
